I was wondering how the Raymond weather was going to be in relation to Aberdeen. First I found out that Raymond is in the Pacific County not Grays Harbor! I don't know for a fact but I believe that Grays Harbor is probably the rainiest area in all of Washington so it is nice that we will be out of that zone. However, Raymond is close enough that the weather wont be that much different as you can see from these graphs. But that is OK, at least everything stays green! I like the snow, but living in a black & white world for 9 months can sometimes be challenging! Speaking of snow =) This next photo is a topo of the area where the house is. Looks like the highest point on the ridge the house sits on is 400 ft above sea level. This will give us a little better shot at getting a Christmas snow! =) Not to mention NO chance of flooding! Also you can see that there is a small creek on both sides of the ridge that should be with in walking distance. The google map shows a path down to some small ponds or wide spots in the creek. Keep in mind though that the google maps are sometimes about as accurate as the weather maps! We were hoping that these creek/ponds would be accessible, but this topo map shows it to be pretty steep! It will be fun to explore the area!
Well I should get busy packing! =) Moving day is just around the corner!
